Information We Collect

When you book an appointment, request a change, or contact us through this site, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Appointment details — the service requested, date, time, and staff member
• Your visit history, so returning clients are recognised at booking

We do not collect or store your full payment card number. See "Payments" below.

Payments

When online payments are enabled, deposits and service payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's own secure form (Stripe Elements) and are sent straight to Stripe — your card number never passes through or is stored on our servers. Stripe's use of your information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

Hosting & Storage

This site and its database are hosted on Cloudflare. Appointment and client records are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare also processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.

Email & Calendar Invites

Booking confirmations, receipts, reminders, and appointment changes are sent by email through Resend, our transactional email provider. When you book, a calendar invite for your appointment is also emailed to the salon owner so your visit appears on her schedule.

Salon News & Offers

The email signup form collects your first name and email address for salon announcements and offers. We store the signup source, time and subscription preferences in Cloudflare D1. Announcements are delivered through Resend. Use an announcement's unsubscribe link to stop these messages. We keep an unsubscribe record to respect your choice; submitting the signup form again does not automatically remove that preference. Booking emails are separate.

Maps & Fonts

The Visit page connects to Google Maps only when you choose Load Google Map. Google then receives your IP address and browser information and may use cookies. Hide Google Map removes the embedded map; it cannot undo information already sent to Google. Directions links open Google Maps or Apple Maps under those services' privacy policies.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts when a page opens, which sends technical request information such as your IP address and browser details to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

Site Performance

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and page-load performance on this site. This is distinct from advertising pixels. The hosting service also processes network and security information to operate the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

The booking system uses cookies for session and booking functionality, including keeping your place in the booking flow. We do not add advertising pixels to this site. The optional Google Map may use its own cookies after you load it.

How Information Is Shared

The salon owner uses client records to manage your service; staff receive limited booking details needed for their work. Cloudflare supports hosting and storage, Resend delivers email, and Stripe handles online payments when enabled. Google receives the technical information described above for fonts and maps.

Your Choices

To ask what information we have on file, request a correction, or request deletion, contact us using the phone number or email address on the Visit page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site changes.
